With over three decades of banking experience, Scott began his career in the early 1990s through the management training program at Third National Bank. Since then, he’s held leadership roles at several community banks, including Rutherford Bank and Trust, Bank of the South, and FirstBank-where he served as an industrial and commercial real estate lender and earned his Certified Financial Planner designation. In 2013, Scott joined FiRST National Bank of Middle TN, where he has served in multiple leadership roles. Consisting of overseeing the Bank’s Wealth Management Division, FiRST Wealth while also serving as Chief Credit Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Market Leader for Davidson County. Scott is a graduate of Riverdale High School and MTSU (BBA in Finance, 1989). He holds his Series 7 and 63 Licenses through LPL Financial. Scott has been involved in many civic organizations including serving on the City of Murfreesboro Pension Committee, the FUMC Finance Committee, a Board Member of Mid-Cumberland Area Development Corp., and as Director and Treasurer of Murfreesboro Noon Rotary! He is also a graduate of Leadership Rutherford.
